Happy 15 Months, Knox!

I don't think I got a single picture with him actually looking at the camera this time.  There's far too much to get in to!  Busy boy...
The only "blue bear" picture we got this time!

Putting his animals back in the crib.  :)

Trying to figure out what that sticker thing is on his shirt...

Obsessed with phones.  And now he's figured out how to "unlock" the iPhone.  Not good!

15 month old feet.  (The boy won't let me cut those toenails!)

He wants to climb everything.  Everything.  And yes, this is considered climbing.  If he can stand on it, he does.  Doesn't matter if it's only an inch off the ground - he's proud he's conquered it.  :)

And for our 15 month milestones:

  •  On January 15, 2013, his bottom right molar started poking through.  He also decided he prefers to fall asleep at night on his own instead of being rocked to sleep.  This was sad for me.  He's been falling asleep on his own for naps for a while now, but I was still able to get my snuggle time in at bedtime.  Now, after bedtime stories, he gets so restless and immediately wants to get in his crib.  I think part of it is also that I started putting his Mickey Mouse in there at night - and he loves Mickey.  I know I should be thankful that he falls asleep on his own without a fight (and I am...) but I sure do miss rocking him to sleep!
  • On January 23, 2013 he started saying "fish"!  He actually said it on his own while we were watching Finding Nemo.  That same evening he also pointed to the rubber duckie picture in his bathroom and said "uck".  Smart boy!
  • On January 27, 2013 he was able to point to his ear, nose, mouth, hand, foot and tummy when I asked him to.  I had NO idea he knew all of these!  I was just randomly asking him to show me different body parts, expecting to start the process of teaching them to him.  Who knew he'd already picked them up?!
  • On January 29, 2013 he started doing the "spider" for the Itsy-Bitsy-Spider song.  It is adorable.  Seriously.
  • On February 3, 2013 I asked him to say "Uncle Rooster" (my brother), and he made a funny rooster noise.  He also will stick his tongue out on command now.  Could come in handy...
  • On February 5, 2013 he learned how to say "up" ("uff") and "bath" ("baff").  I love his little voice.  He's also started patting his stuffed animals when he hugs them, which I realized is what I do every time I hug him.  Kids truly are little sponges!
  • On February 9, 2013 his bottom left molar started poking through.  He also "whispers", which is hilarious.  When he talks, he sounds like he's speaking Mandarin, so to hear him whispering in a language I can't understand anyway is really funny.  He also has started patting me when he hugs me.  Again, the same way I hug him.  I absolutely love it.
  • On February 10, 2013 he added in the rain hand motions for the Itsy-Bitsy-Spider song.  He loves doing these motions so much he usually forgets about doing the spider part all together.  Just constant "rain".  :)  He also started saying "hello" ("aye-oh"), and "yes" ("esss").

such a fun time! he's a smarty! it's so fun hearing their sweet little voices and how they still have some of that same sound as they were as newborns.
